The uVU awards are an annual travelling exhibit featuring the best in Canadian design and print work. Being sponsored by an international paper supplier, the exhibit had access to thousands of papers, finishes, and sizes that were always too weird for designers to sell to their clients. Using traditional techniques like photocopiers, markers, spray paint, and watercolours, on some of the rarest papers, set this awards show apart from it’s competitors.
